Eighteen years ago, we walked out of those gates into diverse lives. This weekend, we reunite back on the JNV Uttara Kannada campus to relive cherished memories, honor our mentors, mentor current students, and dedicate our permanent batch legacy gift.
Structured Saturday & Sunday Itinerary
Saturday is dedicated to pure nostalgia and high-impact career guidance for senior students. Sunday is the official ceremonial reunion honoring our mentors and dedicating our batch gift.
The Homecoming & Check-in
Alumni arrive at the school campus. Warm welcome, room check-in, informal dorm visits, and sync on Saturday student sessions and Sunday ceremony.

A casual, nostalgic lunch served in the authentic school mess, reliving hostel dining memories.
Future-Forward: Career Advice Sessions
Split the alumni based on domains (Tech & Engineering, Medical, Civil Services, Entrepreneurship, Teaching). Run interactive breakout panels for Classes 10, 11, and 12 students.
Sunset Catch-up & Free Play
Be a part of evening PT and sports on the school ground (volleyball/football). If needed, certain alumni can return to town/home (hotel accommodation in Sirsi).

Our batch is funding a permanent campus infrastructure gift. Following ground realities and committee reviews, 3 high-impact alternative plans were evaluated, with Option 3 (Smart Hall Conversion) confirmed as the highest utility for students.
3 Alternative Campus Projects Evaluated
Because ground work on the earlier proposal had not begun, the committee evaluated alternative high-value plans, with Option 3 emerging as the top choice.
Option 1: Ladies-Side Parents Lounge
Construction of a dedicated sheltered lounge near the girls wing for visiting parents during monthly Parents Day visits.
Option 2: Sports Arena Building Extension
Extending the existing campus sports arena building wider to accommodate expanded indoor sports and gear storage.
Option 3: 2005 Batch Hall into Smart Hall
Converting the campus hall built by the 2005 batch into a state-of-the-art Smart Hall for student seminars, special lectures, and career guidance sessions.

Our 4 Specialized Micro-Committees
Because we are all juggling tight professional schedules, execution is powered through clear ownership and decentralized teams. Reach out to the respective committee leads anytime!
1. Infrastructure & School Liaison Committee
Key Responsibility: Finalize and execute the school gift (Converting the 2005 batch hall into a modern Smart Hall), coordinate with school management & Principal for permissions, procure smart classroom/seminar AV systems, and track setup progress.
2. Faculty Hospitality & Logistics Committee
Key Responsibility: Trace and contact retired/moved faculty. Arrange their door-to-door transport (booking train berths or dedicated AC cabs) and comfortable hotel accommodations at Sirsi.
3. Event Execution & Student Session Committee
Key Responsibility: Curate the Saturday career panels, design the Sunday stage flow, manage AV/Sound setup, design mementos, and decide speakers for the events.
4. Finance & Treasury Committee
Key Responsibility: Set up a transparent, shared pool fund account, create the budget sheet, track collections, and disburse payments to vendors.
